I’ve always believed that beauty can enhance usability and that function without style is a cop out. So, I’m excited to be launching my first consumer product on Kickstarter today, as it reinvents the flashlight as a decorative object. What are two of the biggest issues with flashlights? One, you can’t find one easily when you need one. And, two, you have to hope the batteries aren’t dead when you do find it. Realizing that a more beautiful flashlight is a more useful flashlight because you leave it out where you can see it was the idea that drove the development of the Trioh!
The Trioh! is a rechargeable flashlight that looks good anywhere in your home. It’s also an emergency light that will automatically turn on if the power goes out and it’s a nice little accent light with a candle-like glow, too.
